Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest priority is given to Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, diagnose failures, and make necessary corrections, including offsite road repairs and service calls.
  • Complete daily checklists as required for proper unit operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of associated paperwork.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and annual vehicle inspections in compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
  • Park equipment according to facility permit and DOT requirements.

Work closely with team members to ensure a clean and organized work environment. Other assignments may be provided by management as needed. Demonstrated understanding of Clean Compliance Standard is also essential.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience working on diesel engines.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in electrical, computer, ECMs, fuel, air systems, ABS, hydraulic systems, and engine operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty forklifts, roll-off trucks, forklifts, pick-up trucks, box trucks, tractors, and tankers.
  • Familiarity with various tooling and equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical assessment upon hiring.
