We are currently seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in a challenging role that offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the Oil, Gas, and Biofuels sector, building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the success of our team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop process design fundamentals and criteria
  • Apply established calculation and design methods
  • Produce mass and energy balances using simulation software
  • Design and determine specifications for process equipment
  • Supervise a team of engineers, where required
  • Assist with project cost estimates
  • Perform equipment commissioning and performance testing
  • Conduct inspections or technical surveys
  • Create process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Participate in risk studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, What-if)
  • Contribute to technical and economic feasibility studies
  • Review and verify process engineering deliverables produced by other team members
  • Develop proposals and client presentations
  • Contribute to growing the capabilities of the process team and the firm

About You

We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Oil, Gas, and Biofuels industry.

You should be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, have solid statistical and analytical knowledge, and excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.

A strong interest in the environment and energy transition is essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Fathom, and PIPE-FLO software.

Salary Information
