Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Senso Group Building Supplies Inc. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their roles
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of items that do not meet our quality standards
- Establish work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times
- Sell merchandise and provide customers with information about our products and services
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
- Construction sales experience, with a focus on materials, tools, and equipment
- Dental and healthcare plans
- Permanent work term
- English language
- 40 hours per week
