We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Our Hamlet Childcare.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children from birth to 12 years old, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Maintaining daycare equipment and supplies
  • Assisting in program planning and implementation
  • Engaging children in activities such as storytelling, songs, and crafts
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a secondary school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
