Job Description

The Strategic Alliance Associate will work closely with our National Accounts team to service and grow some of the largest customer accounts in Canada. Key responsibilities include managing multiple accounts, developing positive working relationships with all customer touch points, and promoting ecommerce and multi-channel strategies and capabilities.



  • Manage Multiple Accounts: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Develop and Manage Annual Business Plan: Identify high potential markets, trends, and opportunities, and develop a comprehensive business plan to be reviewed with management.
  • Promote Ecommerce and Multi-Channel Strategies: Engage with account managers and conduct joint calls to existing and prospective clients to promote ecommerce and multi-channel strategies and capabilities.
  • Prepare and Present Business Performance Reviews: Prepare and formally present business performance reviews to national clients.
  • Conduct Semi-Annual Meetings with Suppliers and Verticals: Conduct semi-annual meetings with key suppliers and verticals to develop action plans specific to market or clients.
  • Support Agreement Renewals and Negotiations: Support agreement renewals and negotiations where required with client's procurement, legal, and risk team.
  • Manage Large Industrial Projects: Manage the coordination and delivery of large industrial projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess:



  • 5+ Years of Account Management Experience: Proven track record of success in account management, including developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or Equivalent Work Experience: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead and manage teams, and communicate effectively virtually, verbally, and written.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to form lasting relationships, negotiate, public speak, and present virtually.
  • Experience in Project Management: Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for travel and project management.
