Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team at Medi Corner. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch medical care to our patients.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate can expect to work 35 to 44 hours per week, with a guaranteed Work Term: Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Examine patients' health conditions to identify diseases and injuries, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment, and prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
  • Clinical Practice: Perform and assist in routine surgery, participate in health care policy and planning, and advise patients on health care.
  • Professional Development: Maintain licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and obtain certifications such as College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
Requirements
  • A Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry;
  • Experience is an asset but not necessary for this role;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and teamwork skills;
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
