We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team at Irving Paper, a world-class facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. As North America's Largest Super Calendared paper producer, we pride ourselves on using the latest technology to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

As a Senior Electrical Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning electrical control system equipment, as well as assisting with capital project work, planning, designing, and commissioning logic and equipment as required. You will also respond to day-to-day operations requests for assistance with electrical equipment in a 24/7 operating environment, and work with plant operational teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to process control systems.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. You must have extensive experience with OT Control Networks, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and OPCDA/OPCUA and SCADA systems, as well as knowledge of electrical controls systems, distributed control systems (Honeywell DCS), and programmable logic controllers (PLC). You should also have proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team of technicians.

In exchange for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
