Senior Culinary Team Member

We are seeking an experienced Senior Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team at Carlos O'Bryan's Pub.
Key Responsibilities- To prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes to the highest standard, ensuring quality and presentation meet the expectations of our customers.
- To inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and in line with health and safety regulations.
- To train and develop junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- To order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and ordering is done in a timely manner.
- To supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- To maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that inventory levels are up-to-date and orders are placed accordingly.
- To keep kitchen and work areas clean and tidy, maintaining a high level of hygiene and organization.
- To manage kitchen operations effectively, ensuring that meals are prepared and served on time and to the required standard.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a pub or restaurant setting.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of menu planning, preparation, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and develop junior staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The salary for this position is estimated to be $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
