Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team at MDA Space in Montreal.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office and common area layout projects for all MDA buildings in Montreal.
  • This includes participating in the drafting of project justification files, preparing and writing specifications for calls for tenders, analyzing bids, and planning work with the operations team and various trades.
  • The ideal candidate will also have excellent budgeting and planning skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships quickly and solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and advanced interpersonal skills are required, as well as proficiency in drawing and presentation software such as Autocad, SketchUp, or Revit.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate office and common area layout projects for all MDA buildings in Montreal.

Participate in the drafting of project justification files and prepare specifications for calls for tenders.

Analyze bids, plan work with the operations team and various trades, and identify schedule risks.

Monitor project costs, ensure budgets are respected, and lead and organize project review and coordination meetings.

Monitor contractors and assess work compliance and quality, producing reports and follow-up tools as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in commercial/corporate development management.
  • A university degree in an appropriate or technical field in architecture or interior design, or any other relevant training.
  • Excellent budgeting and planning skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships quickly and solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, advanced interpersonal skills, and proficiency in drawing and presentation software such as Autocad, SketchUp, or Revit.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Benefits:

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
