Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-time Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand the company's market presence within your assigned territory.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for your territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, identify potential customers, and set sales goals.

Territory Management:

  • Manage all aspects of your assigned territory, including identifying key accounts, prospecting for new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Forecast sales volumes and track sales performance within your territory.
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within your territory.

Personal Training and Development:

  • Self-improvement and continual training is crucial to sales within your territory.
  • Ensure the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell company's products or services.

Market Awareness:

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends within your territory to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.

Travel:

  • Travel within your territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events as required.

This role requires at least five years' experience in a similar equipment sales role dealing with senior business decision makers in the market.

Experience managing a high volume of accounts, a driven, hardworking account manager who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and places customers first, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite are also required.

Sales and Account Management training is an asset.
