We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Gameday Men's Health Canada in Midtown Toronto.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care to men seeking health support. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, providing education, and administering treatments.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial patient assessments and gather health history.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and document patient progress and medical information, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on men's health issues.
- Foster a caring and supportive environment for patients to discuss their health concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and active license with the provincial College of Nurses.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in men's health or primary care, is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
