About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Allan Park Motor Sales. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Utilize data analysis software, MS Excel, and other tools to analyze financial data and identify trends.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.
