We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager Assistant to join our team at Tropical Treets.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, requiring 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week and will be fluent in English.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized and reliable, with efficient interpersonal skills and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Manager Assistant will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, fixed assets and depreciation, as well as maintaining financial records and general ledgers.

The role also involves posting journal entries, preparing statistical, financial and accounting reports, tax returns, and trial balances.

The Financial Manager Assistant will also be responsible for reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with efficient interpersonal skills
  • Time management abilities
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
