Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ag Equipment Service Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the service department, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the workload of the service department to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Assign and schedule jobs for service employees based on their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to service employees to improve their performance.
  • Work with the Service Business Manager to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers regarding repair status and issues.
  • Direct and assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting machine problems with technicians and apprentices.
  • Perform final checks and approvals on equipment before starting work orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service consistently above standards.
  • Assist the Service Advisor in providing quotes on repairs for internal and external customers.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with coworkers and foster strong team dynamics.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance.
  • Ag Equipment Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Certification or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag/turf equipment.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly and 40-75 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
