Optician Internship Opportunity

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers promptly and addressing their needs efficiently.
• Under guidance, review prescriptions and identify special needs to provide personalized service.
• Perform tasks accurately and thoroughly, despite time pressure and customer volume.
• Identify and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize the Eyewear Consultation Folder to educate customers on Pearle Vision products, guarantees, and services.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their lifestyle, RX, and price needs.
• Operate the software system to input customer and prescription information accurately and efficiently.
• Collect payment and handle transactions securely, following company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of state or provincial licensure program (where applicable) or equivalent schooling.
• Licensure pending approval following completion of qualifying program.
• Previous optical and retail experience.
• Strong communication and listening skills to interact with customers and associates.
• Basic math skills and awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
