Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of our exceptional service, ensuring customers receive all the help they need on their journeys. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services.
  • Utilizing smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
  • Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answering questions and educating customers about products and services.
  • Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental.
  • Installing hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Filling propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
  • Driving a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
  • Ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear.
