About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant to join our team at NOVA CAD BC INC.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to assist in the preparation of plaster models and moulds, as well as casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plaster models and moulds
- Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
- Mould wax over dentures set-up
- Finish metal framework of dentures
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
- Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
- Polish and buff dentures
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field and be proficient in English. They will also have the ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
