Telecommunications Equipment Installation Specialist

OB IT SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Installer to join our team. As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment, including telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
- Equipment Repair: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.
- Inspection and Testing: Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment and test equipment to locate transmission faults.
- Transmission Systems: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems.
- Cable and Hardware Repair: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in this field of employment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
This role requires climbing and working aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong physical ability to perform these tasks.
