Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our efforts in state government solutions. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of the industry, excellent business development skills, and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for state government opportunities
  • Prioritize and manage multiple sales efforts simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new opportunities, and focus on growing our share of the customer business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue growth
  • Establish and lead virtual teams from other departments to prepare proposals and direct pre-sales activities for potential customers
Requirements
  • 10+ years of business development/sales experience, ideally in systems and solutions
  • A University Degree in Business, Commerce, Sciences
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing, and delivering new business with experience specific to state governments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary as well as an additional bonus based on personal, division, and company targets. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
