We are currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Auxiliary Constables, playing a vital role in supporting our sworn members and enhancing public safety.
About the Role:
As an Auxiliary Constable, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the community while gaining valuable experience and skills in law enforcement.
You will work closely with sworn members to provide support and assistance on various policing initiatives, events, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sworn members on patrol and at events
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
- Contribute to crime prevention and reduction efforts
- Assist with investigations and evidence collection
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have successfully completed secondary school education or equivalent
- Meet colour vision standards
- Not have been convicted of a criminal offence (with pardon)
- Pass a background investigation, medical, physical, and psychological tests
- Hold a valid driver's licence with no more than 6 demerit points
- Qualify in Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED
- Display good moral character and habits
- Commit to a minimum of three events per month
