Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training employees, ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, establishing work schedules, and selling products. You will also prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, resolve customer requests and complaints, organize inventory, supervise and coordinate activities of workers, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 sales staff
  • Assign sales tasks and duties to team members
  • Hire, train, and develop employees to meet business needs
  • Order merchandise and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and other documentation
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail sales management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
