Job Title: Mining Engineer - Senior Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Mining Engineer to lead project management and mine planning.

  • Develop and implement mine plans and underground mine designs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and propose novel methodologies.
  • Prepare technical reports as a Qualified Person (QP).
  • Maintain client relationships and establish trust.
  • Conduct design viability studies and participate in project budget estimation.
  • Construct pit designs for short and long-term projects.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of technical experience in minerals-related professions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of mining and minerals industry with rock mechanics an asset.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Project Management and Oracle applications.
  • Knowledge of specialized software, such as GEOVIA GEMS and DATAMINE.
