Job Summary

The Senior GenAI Engineer is a key member of our team responsible for developing innovative Generative AI solutions. This role requires collaboration with data science and IT teams to build sound architecture, effective MLOps/LLMOps processes, and comprehensive controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement generative AI solutions to solve complex business problems and deliver business value.
  • Work with architects and platform engineers to build a high-performance environment for data scientists and engineers to develop GenAI solutions in a timely manner and deploy them efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving support to project teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, and evaluate their potential applications to improve our AI engineering processes.
  • Drive the adoption of ML Ops practices within the GenAI engineering team, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment of GenAI solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the GenAI engineering team.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in implementing and productionizing ML projects end-to-end, including MLOps and Model Marketplaces.
  • Experience with leading GenAI/ML Solution Pods for production-ready AI applications.
  • Experience with scaled-up release management for AI applications.
  • Experience with building microservice-based architecture for GenAI solutions.
  • Experience in working with large-scale data sources in complex environments, and implementing scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.
  • Expert knowledge in cloud platforms, especially Azure, in the context of GenAI solution development and deployment, and common tools in data science.
  • Solid understanding of generative AI models and algorithms, and their applications in solving complex business problems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams and partners.
  • Highly motivated and result-driven.
  • Comfortable in handling changes and delivering results in complex situations.

Primary Location: Toronto, Ontario

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between: $92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD
