The Creekwood Daycare Centre is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on 32 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have experience working in early childhood education and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's development.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
