Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Orientation & Training: Comprehensive onboarding process to ensure new staff are well-equipped to handle client interactions and team responsibilities.
  • Team Engagement & Support: Foster a positive work environment through regular communication, coaching, and mentoring to promote team growth and success.
  • Administrative Duties & Reporting: Manage administrative tasks, meet deadlines, and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts in a timely and professional manner, documenting incidents as necessary.
  • Scheduling & Shift Management: Develop fair and effective schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and coordination of team members' needs.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure team growth and capability.
  • Leadership Collaboration & Confidentiality: Participate in biweekly leadership meetings, providing feedback and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Performance Management & Development: Provide coaching, conduct regular reviews, and hold development sessions to support team performance.
  • Continuing Education & Training: Plan and conduct training events to ensure training materials remain current and effective.
  • Payroll & Financial Oversight: Manage payroll for direct reports, address discrepancies, and oversee financial protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a veterinary customer service setting is an asset.
  • Work experience as a Client Care Specialist or Specialty Liaison is preferred.
  • Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Woofware Veterinary Software.
