Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead our shopper/omni-channel marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated campaigns that drive conversion across the consumer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of our clients' business strategies, objectives, and brands.
  • Providing strategic direction for our clients as required.
  • Leading the development of omni-channel campaigns, including IMC/agency partner management.
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth within our clients' businesses and implementing plans for incremental programs and services.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to assess new hiring requirements.
  • Managing the hiring process with HR, including onboarding, training, and developing a strong account management team.
  • Mentoring and developing direct reports to provide best-in-class account and production management.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and supporting personal and professional goal-setting for team members.

Financial Management:

  • Overseeing portfolio P&L, collaborating with finance to maintain business profitability.
  • Training the account team on budget management.
  • Identifying revenue and profit gaps and creating implementation plans to address them.

Business Operations:

  • Identifying new areas for business growth within our omni/shopper team or across additional Salt XC services.
  • Managing external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, clients, agencies, and contractors.
  • Leading new or ongoing business initiatives to support growth and development for Salt XC.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years in accounts, client service, project management, or related roles, with a strong background in shopper marketing/omni-channel marketing.
  • A deep understanding of the Canadian retail landscape and agency support processes.
  • Experience managing cross-functional client teams (shopper/trade marketing, sales, and brand teams).
  • Familiarity with online and offline disciplines impacting omni-channel programming.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven project management experience.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
