Exciting Opportunity for a Plant Trainer Student

This role is based in our PVC plant in Edmonton, Alberta, where you will play a key part in shaping our future.

About the Job

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Training Specialist to optimize our processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and contributing to overall efficiency.

You will be responsible for writing SOPs on critical tasks and new equipment, supporting training and knowledge transfer from subject matter experts, and carrying out other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical tasks and new equipment
  • Supporting training and knowledge transfer from subject matter experts
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • An active student pursuing Education or technical studies
  • Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently with diverse teams
  • Diligent with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Understanding and following workplace health and safety rules and regulations
