Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.


Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist Servers by ensuring tables have the necessary mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of all food and beverage items.
  • Participate in food running and monitor food quality to maintain high standards.
  • Communicate effectively with Servers and Hosts to optimize seating arrangements.
  • Promote a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure condiments are pre-portioned, fridges are stocked, and garbage is disposed of regularly.
  • Monitor food presentation and adhere to established quality control procedures.
  • Follow established protocols for food safety and sanitation.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field (an asset).
  • Smart Serve Certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of product knowledge and ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
