Job Title: Assistant Manager Human Resources

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager Human Resources to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide direct administrative support to the HR Manager and contribute to the full recruitment cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager in all HR matters.
  • Oversee and actively contribute to the full recruitment cycle, including creating job profiles, selecting sourcing methods, and coordinating background verifications.
  • Assess and process payroll, ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system.
  • Answer questions from employees in a timely manner and set up and maintain current employees' records and database.
  • Onboard new hires and assist in the implementation of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support our branches in the US and assist on other HR projects and duties as assigned.
  • Act as the first line for all HR administration queries and participate in the annual performance evaluation process and succession planning.
  • Maintain and organize HR files and correspondence with various government entities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Human Resource Management or any related studies.
  • Between 2-4 years of experience in human resources as a generalist (CPHR is an asset).
  • Enthusiasm for working in a transforming environment and previous experience and/or knowledge of the US employment regulations.
  • Sense of organization, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuing growth and development with a similar ambition to progress your career.
  • Expertise in MS Office packages (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual (French & English) oral and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain internal and external relationships.
