Job Title: Janitorial Assistant

MELDAMAR INC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and stock linen closet.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel regularly.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, and values and ethics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
