Urban Barn is seeking a skilled Part Time Sales Representative to join our team at our Uptown store in Victoria, BC. As a national retail chain with over 50 stores across the country, we offer high-quality furniture and home decor. Our mission is to make our customers and employees feel at home. In this role, you will enrich the customer experience while growing your expertise with a well-known Canadian retailer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers in selecting the perfect home decor items, providing expert product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for every visitor.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Process transactions, including purchases, exchanges, and returns, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain the visual appeal and cleanliness of the store, adhering to our high standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • A genuine passion for interior decor and merchandising, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and iPads.
  • A flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including at least one weekend and one weekday daytime shift.
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
