The Overbond data streams and analytics can be integrated into any fixed income trading desk's systems and workflow, enabling them to access comprehensive and centralized pricing and transaction data sources for the bond markets.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member, you will contribute towards developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models to enhance our bond trading data streams.

Your primary responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and visualize colossal datasets using emerging technologies to improve our understanding of users and drive product decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and recommend actionable business insights using big data analytics and machine learning techniques. You will leverage distributed and open-source computing tools for recommendations, classification, regression, and feature extraction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to enhance bond trading data streams.
  • Analyze and visualize colossal datasets using emerging technologies.
  • Contribute towards data science initiatives to recommend actionable business insights.
  • Leverage distributed and open-source computing tools for recommendations and feature extraction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant disciplines (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative related discipline).
  • 1-2 years of experience in data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Solid knowledge in regression, time series analysis, tree methods, neural networks, and sampling.
  • Proven track record of building and demonstrating business value from predictive models and data products.
  • Highly proficient in building statistical and algorithmic models with complex and large data sets.
  • Coding experience in SQL, Python, or R.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including extended health coverage, paid vacation days, and monthly team lunches.
