We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director of Care to lead our team at Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge, a 132-bed nursing home in the City of Cornwall.
About the Role:
This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and contributing to high-quality care at Glen Stor Dun Lodge (GSDL).
The successful candidate will facilitate and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility, advancing knowledge of Long-Term Care and influencing system-wide changes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Glen Stor Dun Lodge, fostering a culture of excellence in care delivery.
- Review and provide input on progressive policies and procedures reflective of best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret the Corporation's long-term strategic plan into actionable items for implementation.
- Build relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners to drive continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Assist with budget requests and ensure effective delivery of programs and services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid license as a Registered Nurse through the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Certification with the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) in gerontology or a relevant specialty.
- Experience in supervising or directing registered and unregulated staff in a long-term care environment.
- Advanced skillsets in win-win problem-solving, coaching, and providing constructive feedback.

Salary: Estimated annual salary: $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.
