Job Summary:

As a Service Manager at Paramount Services Ltd., you will oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you manage a team of service technicians, coordinating their activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate activities to meet project deadlines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow service revenue.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality of service and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare project estimates, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
  • Participate in conceptual development of projects, overseeing organization scheduling and execution.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and supply needs to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor service margins and profit, ensuring growth in service revenue.
  • Facilitate management and departmental meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review quotes to verify technical accuracy, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:
  • Red Seal Certification.
  • Five (5) plus years of successful and recent service management background.
  • Must have experience and/or knowledge of the industry.
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, tactful, organized, results and goal-oriented professional.
  • Ability to perform advanced level maintenance related tasks.
  • Problem solving and conflict management are recommended skills.
  • Ability to generate ideas and create processes to grow service department.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management, executive leadership and support staff, as well as with employees.
