Transportation Manager

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive transportation strategy to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Lead a team of transportation managers to coordinate logistics and transportation activities across multiple facilities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to optimize transportation operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the transportation team to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- University degree and/or post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of senior management experience in a transportation setting.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Fluent knowledge of supply chain concepts and methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of transportation management systems.
