About the Role

This Contract Sales Representative role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering strong customer relationships through effective business development strategies. Responsibilities include:

  1. Business Development and Relationship Management:
  • Identify potential business opportunities by monitoring building permits and staying informed about market trends.
  • Develop a robust lead base through various strategies, including networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Foster strong relationships with home builders, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Convert leads from competitors by presenting our unique value proposition.
  • Stay informed about competitors and organize annual showroom visits.
  1. Sales Operations and Customer Service:
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales order documentation.
  • Represent the company in contractual agreements with clients.
  • Manage and maintain orders, including stock ordering and proactive order management.
  • Provide daily updates to the Manager and assist with collections when necessary.
  1. Professional Development and Technical Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry advancements.
  • Provide technical assistance to fellow sales representatives.
  • Apply effective selling skills and construction knowledge to deliver high-quality service.
  1. Consignments Management:
  • Ensure product presence and condition at sites.
  • Perform site inspections and prepare billing documentation.
  • Efficiently manage the consignment process.
  1. Offsite Trade/Show Homes Management:
  • Visit offsite locations and maintain appliances.
  • Foster positive relationships with trade/show home providers.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Sales experience in a B2B context.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Team collaboration proficiency.
  • Basic to moderate computer proficiency.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract.
