Job Title: Field Manager

State Window Corporation, a leading manufacturing and construction company, is seeking a highly skilled Field Manager to join our team. As a Field Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of our products on various construction sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee all on-site elements and functions related to the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of our products.
  • Work closely with the Site Operations Manager to ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with standard protocols and procedures.
  • Manage multiple large and complex projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Team to review measurement schedules and provide accurate measurements for site installations.
  • Ensure that all site measurements are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that all team members are informed of any site delays.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings for releases, delivery, and installation with the Installer and Engineering Team.
  • Review and revise Competent Supervisor forms and JHA documents as needed.
  • Arrange for mock-up installations on site, if required, and plan delivery and installation schedules with the Project Coordinator.
  • Reply to site emails or requests within 24 hours and document all extra costs for issue to the Project Coordinator.
  • Attend Site Trades weekly or bi-weekly meetings and field tests, and follow up with the Installer to provide site daily or weekly inspections logs and safety talks.
  • Provide detailed reviews to the Site Operations Manager, including any changes required to the standard installation process, swing stage requirements, and equipment for installation.
  • Audit the installation weekly to inspect workmanship and compliance with details as per approved shop drawings.
  • Update the weekly field tracker and maintain a chronological photo history of site progress in Procore.
  • Ensure that all site and Building Science reports received for deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the Service Team, Plant, and Installer to complete all deficiencies and document costs if extra to the installer.
  • Review State's invoices in Procore, update percentages completed for deliveries and installation, and send email to the Billing Coordinator when done.
  • Arrange for any equipment required to complete work, such as swing stages.
  • Schedule close-out meetings with the Field and Engineering Teams to review wins and improvements to be done.
  • Review as-built and marked-up drawings for Engineering to reflect changes made during installation.
  • Represent State Window Corporation in business with customers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, as requested.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is an asset.
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of Field Management experience.
  • Full Health and Safety training required (Working at Heights, WHMIS, Supervisor Awareness, Basics of Supervision).
  • Flexible to work overtime as required.
