Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Assign sales workers to duties, taking into account their skills and strengths.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed in the role.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing way.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is essential, as is a strong attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
