Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Manjit S Gauba Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

Our office is located in a convenient location with public transportation available. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
