Java Team Lead

At Luxoft, we're seeking a seasoned Java Team Lead to spearhead large-scale transformation projects for our Mortgage Pricing team. With a focus on driving project success across Development / UAT and Production environments, this role requires a talented leader to collaborate with our US-based team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 3 developers: 1 Java and 2 Angular specialists
  • Design and develop new functionality in Java to meet assigned deliverables within the scope of the project
  • Ensure software development adheres to existing architecture, coding standards, and tool sets to guarantee supportability across global teams
  • Promote agile processes and take ownership of task delivery on schedule
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale Java development projects for financial services industries
  • At least 1 year of proven leadership experience
  • Ability to effectively work with virtual and in-person teams under pressure or deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, Elastic Search, or similar technologies
  • Proficiency with GIT, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices
  • Proven experience working within Agile development frameworks
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with mortgages, bond trading, risk management, or price capture systems
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
