Job Summary

The Manager, Community Benefits will be responsible for the administration of the Gordie Howe International Bridge's Community Benefits Plan. This individual will oversee the delivery and effectiveness of the plan, ensuring compliance with the project agreement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer the Community Benefits Plan, ensuring compliance with the project agreement.
  2. Oversee the delivery and effectiveness of the plan.
  3. Assess measurable and non-measurable outcomes of the plan.
  4. Identify and elevate issues related to the plan.
  5. Collaborate with project partner community benefits coordinators and WDBA teams.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, planning, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5-7 years of community engagement experience is also required. Experience in providing strategic advice and services, developing reporting mechanisms, and working with the public is an asset.

The ideal candidate will have strong political awareness, judgment, and sensitivity, as well as the ability to influence others and maintain strong relationships. They will also be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and have a strong attention to detail.
