Executive Medical Director, Clinical Operations

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Medical Director to lead our clinical programs and services in a complex and comprehensive health system. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will play a critical role in integrating major components of our health system and ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for clinical programs that maintain a patient-focused approach and anticipate and respond to shifts in services and changes in the healthcare system.
- Ensure that patient care activities are organized to ensure coordination, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality patient care outcomes.
- Manage the organization and effectiveness of local medical staff and support the development and operations of the portfolio.
- Implement priority quality, satisfaction, and system improvement initiatives, including utilization management systems.
- Participate in establishing, monitoring, and allocating financial targets.
- Work in collaboration with other Executive Medical Directors to ensure integration of services.
- Support the development, acquisition, and diffusion of knowledge within the organization.
- Monitor and be accountable for compliance with ethical and legal requirements, accreditation standards, and Provincial and Federal legislation and regulations.
