Job Summary:

As a Recreation Worker - Assisted Daily Living, you will provide personal care and social/recreation/leisure activities to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of clients/patients/residents in a mental health long-term care unit. This role requires a compassionate and organized individual who can work independently and effectively with special needs clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and support to clients/patients/residents
- Plan and implement social/recreation/leisure activities to promote physical and emotional well-being
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients/patients/residents, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

- Six (6) months experience in healthcare
- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
