At Lantic Inc., we are currently seeking a highly skilled Business Risk and Compliance Expert to join our Finance team.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
Job SummaryThe Business Risk and Compliance Expert will be responsible for leading our internal control efforts and ensuring compliance with controls. This involves documenting and maintaining controls, performing quarterly and annual tests on key controls, reviewing user access rights to the ERP system, and identifying risks related to access controls.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our company's financial risks, processes, and controls.
- Evaluate and improve our control framework to ensure it remains effective and efficient.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on internal control processes and procedures.
- Perform quarterly and annual tests on key controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Review user access rights to the ERP system on a monthly basis to ensure appropriate segregation of duties.
- Identify and assess potential risks related to access controls and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
- Document and maintain controls, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare documentation on the results of key control tests and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with the Director of Corporate Finance to prepare quarterly financial reports.
- Strong comprehension of internal audit standards, the COSO framework, risk management practices, and accounting and financial reporting concepts and principles.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a recognized accounting designation.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in data analysis.
- Bilingual in both spoken and written communication.
