Job Title: Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various snow removal equipment, including snowplows, salt trucks, and sanding trucks, to ensure safe and efficient winter road maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate snow removal equipment, including snowplows, salt trucks, and sanding trucks, to clear roads and highways of snow and ice.
  • Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
  • Work in a cold, noisy, and potentially hazardous environment.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
