About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wilderness Air Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Aircraft Systems: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks and document records and reports.
  • Dismantle and Reassemble Aircraft Components: Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble as required.
  • Maintain Detailed Records: Maintain accurate and detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME): Hold an AME Licence (E) from Transport Canada.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a minimum of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field. Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
  • Physical Capabilities and Work Conditions: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, and possess flexibility, initiative, judgement and reliability.
