We're seeking an experienced Senior Geospatial Software Engineer to join our Amazon Location Service team. As a key member of this high-performing team, you'll drive feature development for our serverless AWS service, ensuring operational effectiveness and providing top-notch customer experiences.
A day in the life of a SDE on our team is filled with designing and building innovative features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and operating the service to the highest standards. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with engineers who are building the database technology, UX designers, and product managers to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
The Distributed SQL Console team is highly ambitious, working in an agile method to create user-friendly interfaces optimized for performance in a highly collaborative environment. About the role:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis)
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- 1+ year of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
We offer a competitive base salary range of $114,800 - $191,800 per year, based on factors like job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our total compensation package includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
