SOUTH LAKE TRANSPORT INC is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train

Work Environment:

  • 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
  • Work language: English
