Cake Decorator Specialist Job Description

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Cake Decorator Specialist is responsible for applying the finishing touches to our frosted cakes and assembling orders to ensure accuracy and presentation for our guests. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow proprietary methods and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble cake and balloon orders according to guest specifications and follow NbC cake decorating and presentation standards with precision.
  • Prioritize workload according to schedule to ensure all orders are completed at the appropriate pick-up or delivery time, and craft all orders for walk-in guests.
  • Prepare cake decorations, boxes, bows, and other packaging materials in advance to ensure requisite supplies are readily available for cake order demands.
  • Monitor inventory of cake-crafting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate frosted and decorated cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and notify management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation and ensure all crafting tools are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
  • Support the Guest Service Representative in assisting walk-in guests and answering the telephone as needed.
