Electrical Department Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join our electrical department in Edmonton, AB.

About the Role:

  • Leads the vision and strategic direction of the electrical department.
  • Develops and implements business growth strategies, identifying opportunities in the local market.
  • Oversees design execution, project management, and workload distribution within the department.
  • Provides technical guidance to team members, ensuring designs meet company quality standards.
  • Manages recruiting efforts, performance evaluations, and team member relations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical project engineering within building services.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with national teams.
  • Familiarity with provincial building codes, Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, ULC, IEEE, IES, and NFPA standards.
